These particular special grommets are designed to prevent vibrations ensuring great stability. They are made of TPE: a thermoplastic elastomer with excellent characteristics. It is similar to rubber, but is generally used instead of PVC respect to which is softer, more elastic and has a greater resistance to high and low temperatures.
The grommets in TPE have good resistance to high and low temperatures, water, ozone, weathering, acids, aqueous salt solutions, aliphatic solvents and chlorinated and detergents. They also have a good resistance to ketones, mineral oils and petrols and highly resistant to aging. They come with extreme flexibility and elasticity with good electrical properties.Finally they do not contain halogens.
